Prepare to Take Your GED

Get ready to sit for your GED exams with WLS and our professional team. We use time tested and proven training materials. We work with you one-on-one to work through your problem areas and get you up to speed fast. Your GED will help you land a better job and we are here to make sure that happens! Program Outline:

Step 1: Take the diagnostic pretest. This helps us to see what your strong areas are, and which areas we need to focus more time on.

Step 2: Outline a customized study plan. We will work with you to set up a training/study plan that will be convenient yet effective. Plan to meet several times per week over several weeks. The number of sessions and weeks will depend on your prior knowledge and how much work we need to do to get you ready.

Step 3: Access the online tools. Our training materials come with online access to additional videos and practice test questions. You will have access to resources to further enhance your understanding of the concepts and give you additional opportunities to practice.

Step 4: Come to class every session. Your sessions are very important to your success.  Stick to the study plan and schedule. For your convenience, we meet with you either face-to-face or virtually, whatever best meets your needs.

Test Overview:

Reasoning through Language Arts: 2.5 hours for 50-55 questions and 1 extended written response.

Mathematical Reasoning: 1 hour and 55 minutes, 40-45 questions.

Social Studies: 1.5 hours for 30-35 questions including 1 extended written response.

Science: 1.5 hours for 30-35 questions including 2 short-answer questions.
